I started playing when I was still at School.Played in the Junior Section of Lady Alice BC in Greenock for 2 yrs.After this I only played an occasional game with my Dad until I took the sport up seriously in 1993. Ever won a Club Championship? Nope!!! Reached the Final once only to freeze and not play to my potential! Do you think you will win it one day? Yes ! I will win it within the next 10 yrs! John Kane, I have played John several times in various competitions and have never won! I remember a time when I even went about 11 shots to nil up and still Lost!!! I will beat you one day John!!!! Making up excuses or sneaking past the Wife to play bowls has presented much more of a challenge to me than I have ever encountered on a Bowling Green!! PS I am running out of Ideas!!
