The sun came out to welcome President Robert Grant, invited guests and members to the official opening of the greens for 2008. Robert's Wife, Margaret delivered the first bowls and after the presentation and opening speeches, 64 players took to the greens to play 8 ends of bowling.
                                   Two rinks finished 11 shots up to claim the honours. They were as follows-  Nan Cameron (skip), Alice Kelly, J Mc Ilravey and C Nettleton.

Several members gave up valuable time to carry out work to the Club over the winter months including construction of this splendid
water feature.
