Peter Boyle of Lady Alice Bowling Club Won The Championship for the 6th time in 7 Years giving him the record of most Championship Titles in the Clubs 85 year old history,Peter defeated Gerry Watters in a close fought final. Also successful was Willie Bain who won The Presidents Trophy. Willie has now won every single-handled Trophy within his time at Lady Alice. President Tom Faith had a very successful year at Wellington Bowling Club. Tom was a winner in 6 Club Competitions including The Club Championship. Michael Mc Cauley did well to win SBA District Championship winning him a place in The Scottish Finals at Ayr. Wellington' were also successful in The Greenock & District Championships, Stephen Mc Lellan won the Junior Singles and Allan McEwan & Jim Scott won the Pairs.
