Greenock & District League Results Season 2000 |
In Season 1999 The Greenock & District Leagues were re-constructed to form two Leagues with Promotion and Relegation. With some Clubs having enough members for Two Teams .The Stronger Team being called "A" and the other "B" Last Season Divison 1 was won by Port Glasgow BC "A". The Division 2 was won by Gourock Park with runners-up Gourock BC "B" being promoted with them. In Divison 1 Clubs play each other once( 3 rinks at home and 3 away) The Matches are decided on points with a maximum of 12 points available per Match. In Division 2 because of a drop in the numbers of Clubs Each Club will play 7 League games and then repeat the 1st 4 fixtures to give a total of 11 League Games,thus some Clubs will play each other twice.
