Port Glasgow are The Champions. Congratulations to "The Port" on regaining the title.They finished sixteen points ahead of second placed Gourock. Well done !!!! Second placed Gourock finished their league campaign with a good ten shots to two victory over Fort Matilda,which sent them crashing down to Division 2 for next season. Last years Champions,Ardgowan couldn't match the form they had last year and finish in third place this time.IBM were once again a difficult team to beat and this showed as they were always in the top six of the league and they finish in joint third place,although their inferior shots puts them below Ardgowan. Gourock Park secured their place in Division 1 with a good victory over Grosvenor "A" and Grosvenor "B" shared the points with Kilmacolm which means that Birkmyre and Fort Matilda will be playing in the 2nd Division next year. |
