Rodger Lynn defeated Jim Crawford by 21 shots to 15 to win The Presidents Singles.Rodger played some excellent bowling early on and was leading Jim by 14 shots to 8 after eleven ends.Jim already having tasted defeat this year in The Championship Final,was struggling to master the fast running green, but he managed to reduce the deficit by two at the 12th end.                                                                                                 Rodger then increased the strong lead with a "three" and to most of the watching specators,it must have appeared that it was "game over" with Rodger now within just four shots of the title. Jim Crawford had other ideas and over the next four ends he reduced Rodgers lead to just "two" at 17 shots to 15.

The next three ends were all close,but it was Rodger who came out on top and he gained the title with two singles and a "two" to win the game. This was an excellent game to watch and both players must be congratulated for putting on a fine display of how the game should be played.
