Congratulations to Gourock on gaining promotion back to
Section 1. There was just no stopping them and they have led the league from start to finish. The race for second place was a close run thing, with no less than four Clubs in with a chance going into the last game. The combined efforts of Lady Alice & Inverkip claimed that spot after gaining 8 points in the final games against promotion chasing Birkmyre and bottom Club, Ardgowan.
                                                                 I think the new format adopted this year to make up for the small size of the league worked well and i did not hear of anyone getting confused and ending up at the wrong green.
