Congratulations to Port Glasgow on yet another League
win . The Port only suffered one defeat all season and that was against IBM who have claimed the runner-up spot ahead of Gourock Park.
                                        Fort Matilda suffered a shocking defeat against Lady Alice in the last game and will go back down to Section 2 along with Grosvenor B.
This years League was highly competitive and the main surprises were that clubs normally placed around the top half of the League, were instead fighting of relegation. I dont think anyone would have expected the two Grosvenor Teams, Wellington and Lady Alice having relegation staring them in the face with just one game to go. Gourock Park can be pleased with their third place after only falling to defeat just the once to Port Glasgow.
