Sometime way back in 1927, a group of Bowlers met to discuss the forming of Gourock Park Bowling Club within the grounds of Darroch Park.Play started the following year and very little is known about who these men were, but this year we celebrate them and all the members past and present who have enjoyed being part of this very proud Club.

To celebrate the 75th year of bowling at Gourock Park, there will be special events throughout the year and I am doing as much research as possible to try and discover who these original members were. Any help will be greatly appreciated, so please get in touch if you if anything that can help.  Gary@Gourockpark.co.uk

The first President of the Club was a Mr H Barbour and he was aided by the Club's Secretary, John Brownlie
The orginal Championship board at the Club has a L.A. Osborne as the first ever Champion of the Club.
