The S.B.A. Mixed Pairs District 23 Final Saturday 12th July 2003 The Final between Kilmacolm's Tom Mc Lees and Isobel Gallagher against Rothesay's Donnie Mc Kellar and Cath Lobo took place today at Ardgowan BC. A healthy crowd of specators looked on as the Kilmacolm Pair were in great form to race into a 11 to 1 shot lead after just seven ends. Cath and Donnie bravely fought on and brought the score back to a more healthy looking 11 to 5 shot deficit at the 9th end. However it was all for nothing as Tom and especially Isobel were in outstanding form and powered on to win by 21 shots to 5 after 15 ends.
